This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) or equivalent with a background in investment fund accounting or treasury to join this multinational Financial Services Organisation.
This is a key role in providing strong control and delivering Solvency II requirements. The post holder will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the central invested asset repository, ensuring that information held is compliance, accurate and robust for accounting and reporting purposes. Duties will include:
* Managing and controlling the central invested asset database, on behalf of all customers, group finance, actuaries etc, ensuring an accurate, robust and compliant asset accounting and reporting process. .
* Managing the review and implementation of complex rules for assets to support customer requirements.
* Responding to and resolving any data quality issues arising within the database.
* Identifying and implementing process and database improvements
* Acting as a subject matter expert for all asset data needs from an accounting perspective. Clarifying and challenging data, resolving variances, providing consultancy service for customers.
* Building strong working relationships with key business stakeholders and third parties within the investment community as well as IT experts to ensure ongoing technical support.

REQUIREMENTS:
You will be a qualified accountant, (ACA, ACCA) or equivalent with recent experience of working in the Financial Services sector within investment fund accounting or treasury accounting. Experience of Solvency II is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise and negotiate with colleagues at all levels across the business are essential; it is likely you will have stakeholder management experience.
You will have strong time management experience with the ability to prioritise and work to deadline.
