SENIOR PHP DEVELOPER/ PROGRAMMER, LONDON £50k
We are urgently seeking a SENIOR PHP DEVELOPER/ PROGRAMMER to join a leading international organisation. Enjoying a sustained period of growth, my client is now looking to expand their current forward-thinking web development team on a permanent basis. Based out of their head office in North London, the successful developer/ programmer will be responsible for developing and deploying high quality and high traffic web applications in a LAMP environment. Alongside this, you will also be responsible for working on emerging, cutting edge technological solutions as part of a talented team of a developers. On a day to day basis, you will also be required to not only work on new and varied priojects but also will be required to update and maintain existing which will involve all types of database driven development.
To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you must have:
A demonstrable track record developing high quality web application in PHP
Strong working knowledge of Zend framework, Apache and MySQL
Proficiency in other current Internet Technologies including XHTMl, Javascript and JQuery
Commercial experience of Linux
An understanding of caching networking, and network protocols, systems architecture and performance analysis.
The ability to diagnose complex problems on all levels of the IT infrastructure
Any knowledge of scalable web applications and load balancing would be distinctly advantageous but is not strictly essential.
