- What is CVPreview.co.uk?
- CVPreview is a dedicated website where candidates are given the chance to pitch themselves to employers and recruiters and where employers and recruiters are able to search for their ideal candidate.
- Who is CVPreview.co.uk for?
- CVPreview.co.uk is for employers/recruiters who are looking to hire candidates in the UK and is for candidates who are looking for work in the UK and are eligible to work in the UK.
Candidates
- Does it cost anything to submit my CV profile?
- Creating and account and submitting your CV is free to all candidates.
- How do I submit my CV and profile?
- Simply fill out the candidate registration form here.
- What file format can I upload for my CV?
- We only accept CVs in MS Word (.doc) file formats.
- What file size can I upload for my CV?
- Maximum file size is 1Mb.
- What file format can I upload for my photo?
- You can upload your photo in JPG and GIF format.
- What is the file size that I can upload for my photo?
- Maximum file size that you can upload for your photo is 1MB.
- What should I include within my 150 word pitch?
- You have 150 to sell yourself and in those 150 words you should basically try to answer the question:
"What am I good at and why should employers be interested in me?"
You should try to include details about:- Your last/current job - title, department, responsibilities
- Your key skills - preferebly skills that are relevant to the position that you are after.
- Your lifestyle/hobbies - what you like doing, where you've been, do you speak any other language, do you play sports?
- Description of what type of work your looking for and your salary expectations.
- You have 150 to sell yourself and in those 150 words you should basically try to answer the question:
- Who will be able to see my pitch?
- Only registered employers and recruiters.
- Am I able to edit my pitch or my other details?
- Yes. Simply log into your account and you'll be able to edit your details.
- How many regions can I select?
- You can select as many as you like.
- How many industry sectors can I select?
- You can select as many as you like.
- Who will contact me for an interview?
- The employer or recruiter who purchased your CV will be the one who will contact you.
Employers
- Does it cost anything to register my company details?
- No. It is free to register your company details.
- How do I change my company details?
- Simply log into your company account and you'll be able to edit your company details under My Accounts > Edit Company details.
- What are the methods of payment?
- All payments are made online by credit card.
- I've purchased CV Credit(s) but I can't download any CVs?
- If you are having any problems then please contact us at support@cvpreview.co.uk and we will solve the problem as soon as possible.
